Kristi Givens

Kristi Givens, a veteran educator and social worker of over thirty years, is the Executive Director and Owner of Kids of Excellence, two nationally accredited high-quality early learning centers located in New Orleans, LA. She is also the Co-Founder of For Providers By Providers, a non-profit that champions Louisiana’s Type III early learning centers through policy advocacy, professional development, and networking.

Kristi holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New Orleans as well as both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work specializing in Children and Families from Southern University of New Orleans. Throughout the years, Kristi has positively impacted early childhood education in Louisiana serving as a civic and community leader, dedicating her time to being an instrumental advocate in childcare development.
