Ena Wanliss

Ena Wanliss is the National Partnership Project Lead and is responsible for the administration of the national partnerships and related partner technical assistance and training offerings from the Comprehensive Cancer Control Branch.  She provides oversight and programmatic support to eight national networks and organizations charged with working on cancer-related health disparities and addressing the needs of the medically underserved.  Included in her portfolio are the program to provide National Support to Enhance Implementation of Comprehensive Cancer Control, the program to support a Consortium of National Networks to Impact Populations Experiencing Tobacco and Cancer-related Health Disparities and the International Comprehensive Cancer Control Program which assists countries in the development and implementation of their national cancer control plans.  Since joining CDC in 2004 Ena has worked in varied leadership roles within the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control's program areas: the Office of the Director where she served as the Associate Director for the Office of Program Development; the Office of Colorectal Cancer Programs where she was the lead Program Consultant and served on the core team responsible for the management of the Colorectal Cancer Screening efforts; and the Comprehensive Cancer Control and Program Services Branches  where she served as a Program Consultant and technical advisor to cooperative agreements and contracts with state department of health offices and national partners.
