Angelina Ramírez

Angelina Ramírez is a passionate advocate of disability rights. She has dedicated her life to empowering people with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals. As CEO of Stavros since 2019, Ms. Ramirez has used her decades of experience in every area of the organization to build a new cultural model of inclusiveness and accountability. She is committed to developing innovative programs and services that help people with disabilities develop the tools and skills they need to take charge of their own lives.


Under Ms. Ramírez's leadership, Stavros has become a powerful advocate for systems change, breaking down barriers and promoting inclusiveness in the community. Her ability to build trust and collaboration among staff and community members has led to the development and implementation of successful initiatives that have transformed countless lives.


Ms. Ramirez's dedication and expertise have been recognized by numerous awards and accolades, including Stavros's recognition as one of the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts (coming in at Number 21) by the Women's Edge and The Boston Globe in 2022. Later the same year, the Amherst Chamber of Commerce honored her with its A+ Lifetime Achievement Award.


Ms. Ramírez holds a Master's degree in Non-Profit Management from North Park University and a Bachelor's degree in Arts & Science from UMass Amherst. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and American Sign Language, which has enabled her to connect with and advocate for a diverse range of individuals and communities.
